The AIMO Class 7 Syllabus is divided into four portions, each of which covers the topics listed below.

Section 1 includes the following topics:

Section 2 includes the following topics:


1- Integers

2- Exponents and Powers

3- Fractions and Decimals

4- Lines and Angles

5- Rational Numbers

6- Comparing Quantities

7- Simple Linear Equations

8- Algebraic Expressions

9- Data Handling

10- Visualizing Solid Shapes

11- Practical Geometry

12- Congruence of Triangles, Triangle and its Properties and Symmetry

13- Perimeter and Area

It is based on the mathematical reasoning syllabus.

It is based on section 2 and includes high-order thinking problems.


Exam Pattern

The competition is a test of 60 minutes duration comprising 35 objective-type (Multiple-choice) questions for class 1 to class 4 and 50 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 5 to class 12.


The question paper consists of four sections:


Section 1: Logical Reasoning

Section 2: Mathematical Reason

Section 3: Everyday Mathematics

Section 4: Achievers Section


The medium of the test is English.

CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabi are followed for setting the test papers.

The exam is conducted during WEEKEND.
